LITTLE ROCK, AR- The black smoke and loud commotion brought everybody out. It's a result of a firer spotted miles away from a body shop.

"I was kind of amazed and I got in the building and you could hear paint cans explode in there or something. It was kind of scary for a second," said Kevin Walker, a witness.

Walker saw the billowing clouds of smoke before firefighters did.

"It was just a huge big cloud of black smoke. Just real intense fire," Walker said.

Firefighters doused the three hundred foot long, fifty foot wide building in a rush.  They predicted to be on the scene long after putting out the flames because of the paint and other chemicals inside.

Because of all the paint and other chemicals inside the body shop, firefighters had to call on the Department of Environmental Quality to make sure they didn't pose a threat to the public.

"I work on all the cars, paint and body work, so I don't want to think about it right now," said Sergao Satamara, an employee.

To look at the fire is overwhelming for Sergao Satamara. He called in sick Monday morning but just had to leave home to see how bad the fire damaged his workplace.

"I don't know. My head is so big right now. I can't even think about it," said Satamara.

Now he wonders where he'll go tomorrow to earn a living.

I know what exactly did happen. They hired a new guy and the owner wanted him to paint flames on a hot rod. So the new guy decided to get the actual real effect of flames, he would create the real thing. Thats what really happened.
