LITTLE ROCK, AR – Little Rock police responded to a burglary at a local Little Rock store.

According to reports, at approximately 9:28 pm on August 8, police responded to a call in regards to a robbery at the Site Store located at 7320 Cantrell Road. The store clerk told police that two unknown men came into the business, pulled out a silver semi-automatic handgun and demanded money from the register.

Officials say the one of the suspects eventually reached into the register and started pulling out money on his own because the clerk was moving too slow. The first suspect reportedly wore a black t-shirt with white long sleeves, blue jean shorts and a bandanna over his face, while the second suspect wore camouflage pants with a blue hoodie sweatshirt.

Police say a witness reported that the victims were possibly driving a white Crown Victoria with tinted windows.

No arrests have been made at this time, and the investigation is ongoing.

Subway robbery

Later that night, at approximately 10:00 pm, Little Rock Police responded a call about a robbery at the Subway located at 100 North Van Buren.

Officials say the store clerk told police that a man armed with a black semi-automatic pistol entered the shop and demanded that the employees open the register. Once they did, the suspect walked around the counter and took the cash from the drawer. He then fled the scene on foot, heading towards the back of the business.

According to reports, the suspect was in his early 20s and wore a red t-shirt, dark colored pants and had a white cloth over his face with a tattoo on his right arm.

No injuries were reported and the investigation is ongoing.

We are literally watching the active decay of the City of Little Rock unfold in the daily news. It is totally absurd that stories like these have become the norm for the city. Yet the police and city-officials have yet to do anything about these escalating violent crimes! Little Rock is well on its way to becoming the next Memphis, Detroit or Baltimore. I can guarantee that the 49.7% of the well educated and hard working citizens, those who are not prone to senseless violent crime and dependence on government assistance, will not stick around to watch the city become criminally toxic, including myself and my family! This city will be left to crumble all thanks to the welfare queens and repeat offending thugs that started this sour decline with their ridiculous criminal activity. WAKE UP Mark Stodola! WAKE UP Stuart Thomas!

Soon enuf this state will be number 1 in crime, robberies and murder. This is getting totally ridiculous, EVERYDAY, someone is killed, robbed, or vandalized. Makes me want to move back to Alaska, its cleaner, and not as dark. WP
