PINE BLUFF, AR -- Surveillance video shows a robbery suspect walking up to a Pine Bluff store counter with a gun. Police say he fires at least six shots at the clerk, Raed Qatoum. But there is a problem with his a plan.

"He put the gun in my face, and he tried to shoot. He clicked the thing. But for some reason, the bullet's not going out," said Qatoum.

Then Qatoum says the man tries to come behind the counter. But Qatoum, noticing the gun is malfunctioning, decides to wrestle with the suspect.

"I throw his gun away. I beat him up. And I hold him until the police come," said Qatoum.

Pine Bluff respond minutes later and escorted the suspect out of the store. 39-year-old Christopher Clark is now facing an attempted murder charge. But after Wednesday night's frightening crime at the convenience store on Walnut Street, Qatoum is now having nightmares.

"The only thing I can say is thank God. He saved my life," said Qatoum.

Our Lord God blessing are shown every day, it may not come in the form that we wish it but yet gods is real, very real. This man is very lucky, and god has more plans instore for him, his work here on earth is not done. So to all that say schools are no place for gods words or in the market places, beware, god see's all, and he is the one and true judge of us all. Please walk with god each and every one of us!!!!

To all of you giving god credit for saving the clerks life I have to ask would you be praising god if the suspect’s gun had worked? A lot of the credit goes to the ignorance of the thug and the tenacity of the clerk to put the beat down on him.

You got the ghetto tugs shooting in the stores. You have commenter wanting to see more people with guns to do some shooting. I tell you both the thugs and the people you hope are honest can't wait to shoot someone. Low mentality factor at work. What I'm trying to figure out is where I want to spend my time this holiday season. At a club where you know you could be robbed and shot at or in the comfort of my home with family. I also wonder what the victims choice would be if we could stand him up and get him walking, talking, and breathing. Bad choices have killed as many as guns. Educate yourself on public safety. It is a very good weapon against getting to be a victim. They used to teach it in the military.

It's a shame that the clerk didn't have a 40mm Glock under the counter. He missed a golden opportunity to rid Crime Bluff of one more ghetto rat.

Raed, you have to be a man who serves God, because God protects his own. I hope that you didn't forget to thank Him and Praise Him. Be Blessed.
