LITTLE ROCK, AR – A 59-year-old Malvern man was arrested Wednesday afternoon on multiple counts of possession of child pornography.

The Attorney General’s Office began investigating the activities of Tom Buck Steele in September. He was arrested at his home at 1643 Henderson Road and charged with 20 counts of distributing, possessing or viewing matter depicting sexually explicit conduct involving a child.

The AG’s Office says in October they searched two of Steele’s computers and found 60 images of child pornography on them.

Steele is being held in the Hot Spring County Detention Center awaiting a bond hearing.

Tom Steele is a wonderful man. We have an 8 year old Son as well as 5 other children that he loves very much. Tom is innocent and the evidence that was found was on a computer more than 10 years old. Several people have used that p.c. Now, an innocent man has to suffer the consequences. Attorney General's office. You have the wrong man!!!

Well, Megan, let me ask you this. If this guy, that you know oh so well, had pictures of your children naked, would you still defend him? He should die.

I know this man is 100% a wonderful father to 6 beautiful kids, Arkansas sucks because they want to believe the worst... I know and believe this great father and child of god is wrongfully accused. Everyone that says something isn't very bright maybe bcuz of being from Arkansas...so sad, stupid rednecksl!!! We love you always!!!

I want to ask, what is our world turning in to? Child molesters, rapist, murder's bank robbing,dope dealing,illegals jumping the borders. Has our justice system failed? Is our prison system more of a resort than punishment? Maybe we need a closer look at our law makers to stop this.

These pedophiles need to be eradicated from the population. They have no need or purpose in life other than hurting children and scarring their lives forever. If he was on the internet looking at child porn, it is just a matter of time before he tries to lure someones child into a lude act. We dont need that kind roaming around, do away with them ALL.
