LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) — Police say a 48-year-old Little Rock man was stabbed to death at an extended-stay motel in west Little Rock.

Police were called to the motel at 600 Hardin Road late Tuesday night. There, George D. Johnson was found dead inside his motel room. Authorities then arrested 34-year-old Steven Mikao Witzke on suspicion of first-degree murder.

Authorities say the two men were in a relationship and that Witzke admitted stabbing Johnson multiple times.

The death is Little Rock's fourth homicide of the year.

Unfortunately, extended stay motels have become havens for criminal types. Used to be a nice place.
