HEBER SPRINGS, AR – Four men have been arrested as a result of an investigation into the distribution of the synthetic drugs K2 and Bath Salts in Cleburne County.

K2 is also known as synthetic marijuana. Bath Salts are a synthetic stimulant, similar to Pentedrone, and classified as a schedule I controlled substance.

Arrested at his home at 1001 Black Oak Lane in Heber Springs is 46-year-old Christopher Hogan. The sheriff’s office says they found what they believe is Bath Salts, cutting agents, and other drug paraphernalia at his residence. Hogan was currently out on bond, having been arrested on similar charges at the same address in July of 2011. The sheriff’s office says Hogan’s bond has been revoked.

Also arrested on drug distribution charges are Jeremy Scott Allen, Eric Harlow, and Zachary Cordell.

Members of the Cleburne County Sheriff’s Office, the 16th Judicial District Drug Task Force, Heber Springs Police Department, US Postal Inspection Service, and Special Agents with US Immigration and Customs Enforcement participated in the investigation.
