LITTLE ROCK, AR – Police say one man has died after a Little Rock shooting, marking the city’s 35th homicide in 2012.
According to Cassandra Davis with the Little Rock Police Department, 25-year-old Desiree Rice has died after he was
found suffering from gun shot wounds in the parking lot at 1225 Geyer Road on August 6. Rice, along with 31-year-old Billy McKinney, were transported to UAMS, where he later died. McKinney is currently listed in stable condition.
Police say the suspect, 20-year-old Cameron Peterson, is now wanted for first degree murder, along with his previous first degree battery charge.
In 2011, Peterson was wanted for
ambushing police officers with an AK-47.
The investigation is ongoing.
