BENTON, AR – Investigators say a man died after his 1993 Oldsmobile left the road and slammed into a tree. The single vehicle accident happened on Highway 70 in Saline County, near Benton.
Arkansas State Police reports say 58 year old Daniel Alan Garrett of Little Rock died when his eastbound car left the road and hit a tree, just before 7:30pm, Saturday night. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Two separate accidents Friday left two other people dead this weekend. 56 year old David Welch of West Fork died in a crash in Washington County. The other accident in Johnson County claimed the life of 46 year old Kevin Ray Banta of Gentry.
