LITTLE ROCK, AR – A man who was shot in the chest during a home invasion/robbery Tuesday night on Dreher Lane has died. Little Rock Police say it is the city’s 39th homicide of 2012.

According to the report, 5 men were in an apartment at 8501 Dreher Lane relaxing after work, around 9:30pm. That is when 2 men knocked on the door, requesting to use the phone. The suspects then took out a handgun, ordered the men on the floor, and took their cash.

Rafael Osorio, 22, was shot in the chest before the 2 suspects ran out of the apartment. It is unknown if Osorio lived at the apartment where he was shot.

May Rafael rest in peace; and may the Lord be with his family. Doubt any of them could have obtained a CCP for reasons I'll not state right now.

We all know who was here first. And we did terrible things to them. Custer was a hero in the Union Army ( sorry my Southern friends ); but was a coward in the Indian Wars. So was Shivington and others. But, it is our land now, right or wrong. Some we stole, some we bought, some we won in a war with our "friends" in Mexico. It's ours now, so deal with it. Despite my great admiration and respect for Native Americans; doubt they'll ever have the numbers to take it back. I'm with you itsjustme; it's time to take our land, our streets, and our communities back from the thugs that think they run things. And that includes politicians ya'll!

arkansasyankee I agree 100%, i am not letting you use my phone if you knock on my door anyway. its 2012 there are a million ways to communicate with someone without knokcing on my door to use my phone. go to a pay phone. flag down a cop if you are in need. im coming to the door with gun in hand. sad that this keeps happening guzzler you are right also it is getting to be a daily thing in swlr. i think it needs to be addressed. the military should be called in to patrol the streets it is becoming a warzone.

"take our land back" are you Native American Indian? if not the land you are talking about doesnt and never has belonged to you. Its funny you say lazy and sorry to describe the suspects and mention your land. your kind is the laziest and sorriest and they stole this land. Remember while you are knocking President Obama that whites make up over half of the people recieving benifits from entitlement programs! you probably do too.
