Man found dead near northeast AR highway

BLYTHEVILLE, Ark. (AP) — Police investigating the death of man who was found off a roadway in Blytheville.

KAIT-TV reports that officers were called after a motorist saw the body near the Arkansas Highway 239 spur about 10 a.m. Sunday.

The person is described as a white male in his middle 50s. No other information was immediately provided.

Investigators are looking into the cause and manner of death.
