BandP, you're right..In cities like PB, parts of detroit, parts of Chicago, a police action and curfews seem the only solution.

pine bluff needs an overhaul! even though the police chief and mayor or whoever else obviously didnt have anything to do with this that city is in a bad way. something needs to change get federal money to hire like 75 more police officers, start raiding these hoods and get these drugs out of them. every murder has drugs somehwere in the picture whether they are on drugs, owe for drugs, stole drugs, killing to steal drugs, or getting drugs stole from them. i think the president should step up and help cities like this across the nation with money to hire new officers and get better equipment to fight drugs. national guard should be called in to any city that has a crime rate over a certain percent, something has to be done

Okay, maybe I'm not getting this. Did the police chief and the mayor shoot this person in the head? DUH!!!!!!! Put the blame on the people that it should be the criminal that find Pine Bluff a haven to live in, any police chief or mayor will have the same problem and long as the court system keep letting these criminals roam the streets of our cities, not just Pine Bluff. If you are not part of the solution then you could be part of the problem with your negativity.

Get rid of the Mayor and Police Chief and this stuff would slow down. Crime Bluff is the worst place in Arkansas to live in because the Officals worry more about themselves then the public. Wipe out ALL the officals and start with new ones that care about the City and what goes on. If it was there Kin involved I can promise you that they would be all over it.
