LITTLE ROCK, AR – A man police found shot on a porch is dead. It happened just before 3:30am Sunday.

The victim has been identified as 42-year-old Eddie Maurice Larkin.

Michelle Howard with the Little Rock Police Department says officers responding to the shooting call found the male victim on the front porch at 1624 Brown Street. The man was taken by ambulance to the hospital for treatment of an apparent gun shot wound, but later died.

Police are not yet releasing any suspect information. Investigators are continuing collection of information about the case.

Ok first off ..none of you know him for you to be talking trash about him....He was my husband and I know him well . The circumstance that lead to his murder are not to be laughed and joked about ....your church and bible study jokes are not funny either....I find this very disrespectful and without purpose. If he were your husband, son, brother, dad or whomever, youd feel sadness and grief.In the middle of these feelings NO ONE wants to see your judgmental, stupid comments, without knowledge,or fact on here mocking or playing about him dying......dont worry why he was out on the porch for what ok ......its senseless and its done and a great loss in my life and the family too .....dont disrespect him anymore please. you people should have a little respect for the dead. however he died and whatever the circumstances were taking cheap shots at a dead person may be funny to yall but it is terribly disrespectful to the mans family. you dont know anything about him. You dont know that it was drugs, you dont know he was in a gang because he had on red, and it really doesnt matter anymore anyway. May GOD have mercy on his soul and condolences to the family that has suffered this loss!
