FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) — Police in Fayetteville say the man shot and killed during a reported home invasion was a 21-year-old Fayetteville man.
Sgt. Craig Stout says Roderick Rashaun Cooper died at a hospital Monday after being found with a gunshot wound at the home in the city's downtown historic district.
Police say a resident of the home called officers about 9:20 p.m. Monday and reported that three men had broken into the home and that he shot one while the other two escaped. Police say the resident said he also accidentally shot himself in the leg and that he's hospitalized in good condition.
