SEARCY, Ark. (AP) — A man accused of surreptitiously filming employees at the White County Medical Center has pleaded guilty to four counts of video voyeurism.
The Daily Citizen reports that Kyle Carpenter was sentenced to 10 years in prison on the felony charges.
Prosecutors accused the 28-year-old of using his cell phone to record women as they used the restroom as the hospital. Prosecutors say an employee found an iPhone on a shelf near a toilet in the staff restroom and noticed that it was recording.
Prosecutors say four women were captured on the video.
Carpenter will be required the register as a sex offender once he finishes his prison sentence.
His attorney, Ellen Rief, declined to comment.
