FAULKNER COUNTY, AR – A man has plead no contest to four counts of first degree murder in connection to a 2010 road rage case that lead to the death of four family members.

Russel Johnston has plead no contest to four counts of first degree murder after he was involved with a road rage dispute with James Holian over Johnston’s car not accelerating at a green light.
Holian passed him at an intersection, and prosecutors said the two chased each other for eight miles before Johnston's vehicle crossed into oncoming traffic and crashed into the San Felippo family, killing four and injuring one, who spent a week in a coma.

Johnston, who was paralyzed in the crash, plead no contest to four counts of first degree murder and was sentenced to 10 years in prison. He must serve 70% of that time before he is eligible for parole.

Holian, who stood trial previously, was sentenced to 20 years in prison.

He got 10 years, but will be eligible for parole in 7. Good job prosecutors for letting these kind of people basically getting away with murder. I hope you never have to face the families of those that were murdered that day. Sorry, just plain sorry of an excuse of so called justice.
