SEARCY, Ark. (AP) — A man who fled after being convicted of manslaughter in White County in February has been caught by the U.S. Marshals Service.
Shelby Glenn Taylor of Pangburn was picked up by marshals on Thursday near Judsonia.
The White County Sheriff's Office says Taylor fled after his January guilty plea and missed a Feb. 6 court appearance. He has yet to be sentenced.
The Daily Citizen reports Taylor is to appear in court on May 2 to face a failure to appear charge.
Taylor was charged in the 2010 death of 20-year-old Crystal Ward who was killed when Taylor's vehicle crossed the center line on a White County highway.
Prosecutors say lab tests show Taylor had methamphetamine in his system at the time of the crash.
