Blue Princess, it's his God given right to fish in his own pond that isn't stocked by the Game & Fish commission..Otherwise, you must get a license...

It doesnt matter if you have a license or not. If someone wants to hunt of fish illegally, they will. People that have the proper licenses do not always play by the rules. Do you think everyone abides by the limit rules on fish, fowl, or other wild game? If you checked yes, youre fooling yourself.

To Blueprincess and anyone else with dreamie ideas. In 1928 there were fewer than 25 deer in Hot Spring and Clark countys because they had all been killed because of little or no inforcement laws on limits and seasons. The state spends large amounts of money stocking and patroling to keep things in check. We wouldn't need all of this if every one was honest but guess what, they ain't!!

I always buy one every year. 10.50 isn't a lot and it goes for a good cause. I could even just get it ever three years but like I said it isn't that much. Game and fish usually take any game and fish taken without one. I hope they did this one.

There would be just as many fish as there are right now without the fee of a fishing license. I think the laws on catch limits could control that. No one should have to pay to fish or hunt IMO and they should NEVER face jail time or fines for not paying for a license either. I might could agree that fines on a person catching over the limits was ok but only if the limits are set based on protecting the fish or animal. Fishing and hunting licenses are just another way the state tries to control what belongs to God and was God's gift to all men, no lisence, fines, or jail time required!

Rules are rules for a reason. You have to pay if you want to play. Police state or not. If there were no regulations, there'd be no fish. Same with the Deer, Duck, Bear, Alligator, etc. Rules are rules for a reason. Sorry about the guys luck. Nice fish, BAD luck!

You know we live in a police state when a man can't catch a fish without having to pay for a license. Now he could spend 30 days in jail or 1000. Fine......what a messed up society we live in! Congrats on your catch man! Its your god given right to fish without paying the state for the privelege.
