I was a member of the Bluecoats Drum & Bugle Corps many years ago. A total of around 40 or so of these corps with around 160 members each, tour and compete nationally every summer. These guys put in 12 to 16 hour days outdoors in heat of the summer. I dare say they train harder than many Olympic athletes.
