Megan's is a sad tale, thanks Fox for running this piece. Megan was "legally" kidnapped in 2005 by an legally unrelated middle age man. She was recovered in 2008, and came home a mess. She is a bright and gifted young person, who never asked for any of this. This man was trusted to care for her briefly while her mother was ill, and did not wish to return her. He misrepresented facts to a court that was too busy to investigate - stating her had consent when document revoking same were on file in that very court. Once he got "legal" control of her without notice or a hearing given her mother, he kept her 3 years, purposefully alienated her from her mother until she bonded with him, and fought to keep her. Her mother worked for 3 years to recover her, paying lawyers on minimum wage earnings. When she came home, she did her best to love her and get her help while it could do some good. The child would have none of it. In 2010-11, this man caused 3 civil actions, a criminal action, and probably a bogus child abuse charge to be filed - trying to set her mother up and steal Megan again. We are finding her, and we are getting her help. Please join us on Facebook - http://www.facebook.com/FindingMeganBray

Is it just me or does the red hair make her look more like 35 that 16. Hope she is alright and contacts her parents at less to let them know she is fine.

This is a reminder to be on the lookout for this child. I am sure the family is worried sick. Megan - Please at least let your family know you are alive!

If she ran away maybe she had good reason. and if she did't run away we should be praying for her safe return instead of making wise remarks.

Really, Why is this just being announced? Does she have a history of running away or something???...I don't understand why it wouldn't have been announced sooner otherwise.
