Most people here don't call it Mayberry because it is a honest little podunk town were a straight forward honest sheriff and his Deputy Barney work. LOL. Then again Vilonia is getting just as bad. I heard a rumor about a cop there letting an under aged girl drink in his home, Hitting her, and them having her arrested. If it was true why didn't he get the ride too. Then you know how rumors get out of hand.

Since this article talks about the lying of the police chief of a town in Faulkner County, why hasn't the media covered the police in Vilonia. The best about the bypass around Vilonia is not how much time it saves driving through the area, but avoiding some very dishonest crooked cops in Vilonia. Most anybody in Vilonia that I talk to including business owners will mention this problem. Last year before the bypass was completed, I veered my two left wheels in the median because a car stopped twice before turning off Hwy. 64 because I did not want to get rear-ended. I had a cousin who is a cop in Tulsa who would have killed by being rearended in a situation I was avoiding, but his airbag deployed. I waited until the car was driving in a parking lot before proceeding. One-third of a mile later, a cop car turned on its lights. I knew he could not have honestly stopped me for anything because veering in the median is acceptable according to the state driver's manual. I drove to a safe place where I could be seen because if he could lie about me doing something, he could lie about my behavior. I did not caome at hm but he tased me twice and then laughed about to the person who towed my truck. He lied throughout the report (at least 10 lies in about 10 lines of the report). He said he turned on his lights at the place where I set my left wheels. He had driven past me when I set my left wheels in the median. He could not have anything because I was driving east when he was going west before he had to turn around. There is a term for what Officer Reynolds did, testilying, when a cop lies throughout a report to try to justify why he stopped me and to cover his behavior.
