Mayor: Dangerous wall must be removed

Morrilton's mayor says the the city's street department will remove part of a dangerous wall near the corner of Broadway and Division streets by next week.

You are right western, there are crappy buildings in a lot of cities across Arkansas. Seems to me more and more cities would learn from this tragedy and make the owners do something about them before another death occurs.

There are many buidings and walls in several towns in central arkansas that are very dangerous, a few examples, in Beebe the old movie theatre (burnt), in McRae the old herring store (partially torn down) and the building in Conway that the city was condemning. This would make a good story about property owners disregard for public safety. ws
