Marijuana comes from a Plant, Apples come from a plant, Tobacco comes from a plant, Potatoes come from a plant, Aloe Vera comes from a plant.. It's every person's right to CHOOSE what their body consumes... If it's a good or bad choice, it's only that person who reaps it's benefit. Not YOU. Arkansas for Compassionate Care's belief is Arkansans who agree that sick and dying patients should have access to medical marijuana with a doctor's recommendation. May each and everyone have their own choice because your opinion does matter! No one is insignificant when passing this act can help millions! Please be sure to sign the Medical Marijuana Act and vote YES this coming November!

I'm 50 years old and I don't care for alcohol or the effects it has on me. I also don't use over the counter medications or prescription drugs. I'm ashamed of the people who should be reasonably intelligent enough to understand those products aren't the right choice for all the people. That's basic medical science, each person is susceptible to abuse a product that is different than the next person. We have a substance abuse problem in the USA and it isn't just the products the government states to be illegal. We have people who abuse alcohol, legal drugs, food, power of office, and wealth. When is this ignorance going to ever end?

I am going to say that 21 should be the legal age to use weed. After all,the brain is not finished growng even then. Maybe that would have a baring on how harmful it is to the brain. We have seen many who used it for years that are still SANE.

I am 73 and have never smoked weed....However, I am aware that ALMOST EVERYONE UP TO 55 IS SMOKING IT...ILLEGALLY The ones I know never show signs of smoking it...are productive people. I would probably try it if the GOOD QUALITY (I understand there is a lot of junk around) were readily available. I take hydrocodone which has not been addictive to me.

I don't think people understand the benefits of medical marijuana legalization. Everyone is worried about people getting high and not using it for medical Purposes. So what if they do? The main point is that people are suffering and hurting and they could be better if people would come around.

@Butch54. Na na na na, Na na na na, Na na na, good-bye. Ya'll don't come back now, ya hear. I get so tired of out-siders who come in here and bash this great, God-blessed state (for whatever selfish reason) then bash it. Have a great life in Colorado and enjoy your retirement. Oh, and by the way. casino devil-woman......GO AWAY AND LEAVE OUR STATE, GO PEDAL YOUR EVIL GOODS WHERE THE EVIL ALREADY IS AND LEAVE OUR GREAT, BLESSED STATE ALONE!!!!! Folks, trust me, the ONLY one getting rich from casio's are the sharks that own them. VOTE NO ON CASINOS!!!

Amen. Marijauana, Cannibas, whatever you want to call it. If it were legal, I would be smoking one after work right now every day. The muscle and joint pain associated with my chemo is sometimes very paralyzing. The fatigue is awful. It used to be legal. But it was made illegal a long time ago just to get rid of Mexicans from California. It was all political. It is a natural herb/plant. It would also make me feel like eating when I don't have an appetite from chemo. If I had some marijauna right now, I would smoke it after work, legal or not ! ! ! ! Instead of taking hydrocodones for pain and not eating the way I my body needs to.

58 yrs old, smoked pot for over 40 yrs, regularly, maintained a good job thru the yrs, own my home, tax paying citizen, raised 3 children, all with college educations, one I raised almost completely alone. Doctors tell me I am in excellent health, blood pressure of a teenager, even though I smoke cigs also, and dont excercise. Had to live very privately, because of our goverments policy on pot. All along watched this war on drugs backfire on our goverment, cost us billions, and run the country in the ground, not to mention the lack of respect it created for our goverment. It's time to LEGALIZE, it's time to get our civil liberities back, before we rise and take them back. America is sick and tired of our repressive, impotent, selfish, and greedy politicians. Whose bills/policys favor themselves and their own pocket book, and not whats best for the American public.
