Miller County authorities seek jail upgrades

Officials in Miller County say it will cost more than $86,000 to upgrade the county jail to reduce the risk of inmate escapes.

here's a proposition. put officers on towers at every 50 feet, 24-7. 1, if convicts escape during your watch, you're fired. 2, if convicts are caught attempting escape......shoot them on the spot, regardless of what they are in there for.

What would help Miller County is to get rid if those employees that are helping the inmates escape.

What is the purpose of having a jail that is not, at least, almost escape proof.???? No where have I ever been that they have more jail break outs than in Arkansas.
