LITTLE ROCK, AR – A 1-year-old reported missing from her home Tuesday morning has been found.

According to the police report the mother, Tiffany Ilo, reported her daughter missing after she left her daughter alone for 5 minutes to go charge her cell-phone in her car in her backyard. In the police report, Ilo states that her daughter was asleep in bed and when she returned her daughter was gone.

After police arrived and searched the home, located at 2323 Cross Street, Vera Williams arrived with the child. According to the police report, Williams says she manages the property and found the baby crying in her bed with nobody else in the home. Williams says she took the baby with her.

Police say nobody was charged in the incident and the baby was returned to Ilo. The Department of Human Services was notified about the incident.

As a former property manager I can say that ALL PROPERTY MANAGERS have the right to come into the rental at any time to inspect, repair and maintain the premises. They have to protect their property that is their JOB because MOST renters don't take care of it because to them it is just a rental. Now I have in my experience had a scheduled inspection and the renter either forgot or totally didn't care and I have seen things that are just appalling or diplorable going on where I had to contact the police and our welfare dept. Or a concerned neighbor may have called it into the manager at which she knocked, no answer, hearing the baby cry, unlock door, announce self before entering, no answer back, then went in to investigate and then found the baby alone as per reported to her. (I have been there and done that on both senarios) The manager probably did not have a phone on her person and instead of leaving an unsupervised baby crying alone in an apartment she decided it was in the childs best interest to go with her where she would be supervised until the police arrived after contacting them from her office, maybe. And it's been my experience those "innocent" renters that have to have the authorities contacted about them are really not so innocent but man they can come with a good excuse, they are always full of them. "5 minutes" yeah right, sure... If the manager was aware and did nothing and something happened you would want her hanged for not doing her civic duty to protect that child. Just saying some of you jump to the worste conclusions out of ignorance of the property manager/owners rights to THEIR property

Should have gotten the "free house charger" when she got the cell phone I'm paying for. What about ALL of the tax dollars (again)in the form of Police officers wasted looking for her child that she has trouble taking care of in the first place....ugh

Let's see - that'd be a breaking and entering and a kidnapping, and a confession. Vera goes to jail.

If you have to go to the car to charge the phone, go to the car plug in the phone and go back inside to wait for it to cahrge. More than likely she pluged it in and was still out there because she was talking on it rather than waiting for it to charge to talk.. Go buy a $6.00 charger. Oh yes and make sure your front door is locked if you are going out the back with your baby in the house.

So, went to car to charge phone, why didn't she look outside to see if anyone was around? Because no one was around, she left (where, I don't know) for a little while leaving her child there. If I am wrong, prove it.

How did the property manager happen to come by and get in - wasn't the doors locked or didn't she think to walk around the property as most people don't leave there home without there child? So she heard the child crying from the outside? Why was she there at all? As well the time is important but every time I read these kind of articles doesn't anyway expect a mother to like take a shower usually 10 minutes or use the rest room or go to the laundry room upstairs or down? Think I'd invest in new locks- and maybe a new land lady- sounds like a cover up-

Let this be a lesson to her...if she is a decent mother, let her keep the child. UNLIKE the twins that let their kids burn up alone in a house. Maybe she did just run outside for 5 or so minutes.
