MALVERN, AR – Authorities in Malvern say a missing 11-year-old boy is back home this morning, after going missing Thursday.

John Hern is a student at Wilson Intermediate School. Hern walked away from school at 3:26pm into an adjoining neighborhood, and seemed to vanish. He normally takes the bus home. Malvern police tell FOX16 News that he got into some kind of trouble at school and may have feared repercussions at home.

Malvern Police say, at this time, there are no signs of abduction or criminal activity.

where'd they find him? What kind of punishment could be so bad that he wouldn't want to go home? He kind of looks like a sad kid :-(

WHY HASNT AN AMBER ALERT BEEN SET OUT FOR HIM I POSTED ONE ON FACEBOOK FOR MY END OF THE STATES TENNESSEE IN-CASE ANYONE SEES HIM DONT WAIT TOO LONG

There will be a lot of people down on their knees tonight praying that the Creator of this universe will send an army of angels to protect John tonight. That He will hold him in the palm of His hand and that John might return once again into the arms of those who love him.
