CONWAY, AR - A Conway girl who mistakenly got on the wrong bus after school Wednesday was returned to her parents by an observant Boys and Girls Club employee.

Latresha Woodruff with the Conway Police Department says Ava Osborne was reported missing when she didn't get off the bus at her house after school.

A Code Red alert was issued and Jessie Ross, Unit Director at the Boys and Girls Club, received the alert on her phone and noticed a child she did not recognize who had gotten off the bus at the Boys and Girls Club, according to Woodruff. Ross realized the the child was Ava and called police.

Ava, who didn't realize she was lost, was reunited with her parents.

I drove a school bus for a long time...Normally I am defending drivers, but THERE IS NO EXCUSE FOR LOVING A 5 YR. OLD.
