More signatures needed for medical marijuana

Gods Helper; don't know, I suggest using a search engine ( I use Google ) and type in Arkansans for Compasionate Care, and see what you come up with. Doubt you can sign online though. Good luck! And I've just been in the right place at the right time as far as signing petitions.

Does anyone know where you can sign the petition or a web address?Im unable to drive as Im disabled and have many friends which would love to sign it.Can we get a list of where they will be accepting signatures?I think many of us would come and vote if we knew where to go!If the government would wise up and use the profits to stop the cocaine-crack dealers here in Arkansas we could maybe to the child abusers and murderers behind bars!IMAGINE THAT!!!Gods helper

CTYankee; already signed it; wasn't stoned, and I am a registered voter. leggazer; it's not dope; dope is cooked up by the drug company's and the Feds. Pot is simply a plant; a herb if you will, put here by the Good Lord; and has been used for who knows how long to help with health problems. And leggazer; I'm not going to assume; but I will ask a question. Who has the better shot at getting inside the Pearly Gates; the fellow that lusts looking at women's legs, or the person that smoked weed?

As I've said in other posts on this subject; God put weed here; everything else is cooked up in labs by the "legal" drug industry or the Feds. And don't believe everything you learned, or taught in school. Columbus did not discover America, Custer was not a hero in the wars against the Native Americans, and "Reefer Madness", directed and produced by Uncle Sam, is a pant load. So go ahead and get some; it's better for you than those "may cause these side effects" drugs the docs and the feds are "pushing".

Insurance, neither public or private will pay for this herbal medicine, but compared to the cost of the precriptions I pay for here, the cost of the small amount of herbal medicine I needed in CO where I have a Dr. advised liscense. It is illegal here, so I don't use it. I wish I could.It allowed me to cut the prescrtion meds in half. I think I'd have been able to get off all the prescriptions if I would have had time. I was able to walk without crutches for the first time since my last surgery. It made me more active and improved the qualty of my life. I was a sceptic, I taught 23 years and never would have thought of using that. It's amazing what enough pain will open your mind to try. As long as it's legal. My house I was rentng out here flooded in the summer of rain 2-3 years ago. I even grew some bone. 53 year old women don't grow bone, we tend to lose it. It even helped for a while after I moved back to fix the house. I'm back to the old pain and going down again here. I just pray this at least gets on the ballot. This is a Democracy, not a Dictatorship, at least that's what we teach in school. We should at least get to vote. If no, I'll have to sell my house where I grew up and move back to CO. I'll miss my family and friends, but for now I have hope. It keeps me going. I didn't believe it would help my severe pain, but it did, instantly. When my father had cancer he might have lived if he had the option. He couldn't keep anything down. Now my mother is looking at chemo. I hope she will have the option. My doctor advised me to not smoke it, but use a machine that gives the benefit of the medicine with no smoke, no second hand smoke, no smell. Other countries have a spray you spray under the tongue ade from the whole plant. It is proven medicine in the scientific studies. The FDA has had Sativex since 1996 to test it. I don't think they are going to aprove it in time for a lot of people. It really is life or death for some. Learn about it. Please!

legal or not, I will continue to buy and smoke it because I like it and it does no harm to anyone else. I'll civilly disobey any nonsensical law on the books...this is the most nonsensical law ever, especially while alcohol is legal. I've signed every petition I've come across b/c there are people that do not want to risk criminal charges in order to live with less pain, be able to eat and keep it down, relieve symptoms of glaucoma and in some cases, even save their own life.. And because it's illegal, doesn't mean that the law is just. And I'm not some hippy liberal tree hugging pothead.. I'm an average American who believes that we should have the freedom of choice and when the gov't takes away our right to choose just b/c they can, I have an issue with that. "Trust but Verify" Trust that your government does the right thing but verify that it's not in their own special interest..

Dude III; I agree with you as far as it helping others with certain illnesses. Such as in Stonerpup's case. Now you will hear me complain about freebies handed out by the Feds; but - I get a small VA disability check every month - I earned it by serving my country. I get a SS disability check every month - I earned it by paying into SS since my first job at 15, and being disabled due to numerous health problems. That's what SS is for, retirement and disability. I give you and Stonerpup a vote. It should be legalized as you say; in fact, I've always been an advocate for legalizing it across the board, whether you need it for health concerns or to relax after a long day at work.
