The answer is simple; the West Memphis PD and DA messed up; they convicted the wrong people, and don't want to admit it, or have any evidence proving they messed up coming to light. They simply got the wrong person due to poor police work, and a DA's office looking for publicity. Real evidence points to a step father of one of the boys I believe; but they will not pursue this because it will show that they were wrong to begin with, and this is something they do not want to happen!

I know I'm in the minority here but I still think "The 3" did it.

If it is public information, they can not deny her request. I'm not sure if evidence is public info or not.
