LITTLE ROCK, AR -- At Mimi's Cafe Sunday, plenty of families treated Mom to a special Mother's Day meal. At the same time, servers are happy for the extra business.

"It has been awesome. I had a wonderful day with my family. It's been great," said mother Vicki Corder.

The National Retail Federation says 54% of Americans will take Mom out for brunch or dinner, spending $3.4 billion dollars. Some would even consider the holiday one of the busiest.

"We have been needing because of that bell curve in the last month and a half. But this entire weekend has been lovely," said server Raul Rochelle.

Mimi managers say they start planning three weeks in advance to make sure they are stocked for the more popular dishes.

"Eggs benedict is the big meal now. I think because it is French and it is pretty food," said General Manager Danny Majors.
