LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - A forensic psychiatrist says a man who confessed to shooting two soldiers outside a Little Rock military recruiting station suffers from a delusionary disorder.

Dr. Shawn Agharkar testified Friday that Abdulhakim Muhammad has delusions of grandeur and thinks that he's being persecuted.

The judge called a recess early Friday afternoon, saying the trial will resume at 10 a.m. Monday.

Muhammad is charged with capital murder for killing Pvt. William Andrew Long and attempted capital murder for wounding Pvt. Quinton Ezeagwula in 2009.

His defense attorneys argue he's not guilty because of a mental disease or defect. Muhammad and prosecutors disagree.

If convicted, Muhammad could be sentenced to death.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't Islamic law dictate that if you commit murder you should be put to death? If that's the case, and this guy does claim to obey Islamic law and beliefs, why are we wasting time on a trial, when a buckshock costs much less.

After the early dismissal, don't be surprised if there is a mistrial in the near future.

Maybe I should go rob a bank, have money to live on when SSI diappears, then say I had something come over me and I can't remember doing it. Do we move our snipers from overseas and put them in our cities. If he is at war then let him get the samething other soliders get when they fire on our troops. He admitted to what he did, let him serve the penlty. Or give him a rifle and turn him lose in a combat zone so he can see what war is. It's certainly not going to be seen on a video.

Savage Model 10 FCP 308 comes to mind. Just so happens I have one. Maybe the 300 Short Magnum would be better, or the 7mm magnum or the 30-06. Better yet, sawed off 12 guage in his mouth. So many to choose from.

That murderer deserves the death penalty pure and simple. That Soldier was NOT the rapest in that so called muslem movie. The muslems have done far worse to their own people. Some of the "radicals" just want a reason to go out and kill innocent people! I think that We the U.S. Citizens need to take a more proactive approach to ensure the safety of our communities and stop the "don't want to get involved" syndrome! Some day you may find yourself "involved" without a choice!
