JONESBORO, Ark. (AP) — Three men have been formally charged with capital murder in the fatal shooting of a Jonesboro businessman.

Carl Kelley, Terrance Barker and Johnny Hubbard were charged Wednesday in the death of Marc Despain, Kelley's son-in-law.

Craighhead County deputy prosecutor Mike Walden said Thursday an Oct. 26 arraignment has been scheduled for the men. All three remained in custody without bond.

Investigators say Despain was found shot to death in his Jonesboro home on Aug. 24. He owned BZB Investments, a real estate company.

No motive for the killing has been released. According to the Jonesboro Sun, court papers indicate Kelley collected rent payments for BZB Investments.

Walden didn't know if the men had retained attorneys.

A call to the Craighead County Public Defender's office seeking comment wasn't immediately returned.
