Murder suspect extradited to Arkansas

CONWAY, AR – A man who spent the last 9 years in a Nevada prison has been extradited back to Arkansas to face capital murder charges.
Richard Conte is suspected of killing 48-year-old Carter Elliott and 25-year-old Timothy Robinson in 2002. According to the Conway Police, Conte’s Nevada prison term was for the kidnapping of his ex-wife Lark Gathright-Elliott. She is also the ex-wife of Carter Elliott.
Conte is expected to go before at judge on Wednesday at the Faulkner County Courthouse.
