Thursday, the Little Rock Police Department announced a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person who killed an Arkansas Baptist College student one week ago. Derek Olivier was changing a tire when someone shot and killed him.

FOX16 talked with the mother of another one of Little Rock's unsolved murder victims Thursday as she tries to cope with her loss.

"We used to watch football together. I can't do that. It hurts me to do that. I can't sit up and watch a sad movie because I'm not a sensitive person, but since this has happened to me, I am now," says mother Arleen McDuffie.

Every day, McDuffie copes as best she can with the loss of her son, Terry Bullard.

"No one should have to feel the pain that I'm feeling right now. No one. He was just a kid," she says.

Someone murdered the Central High School grad in May. His killer remains on the run, but, with one-hundred people outside the club when her son died, McDuffie thinks someone knows something.

"I guess they're just scared. I don't know, but again, I would hope that someone would find it in their heart to step forward and say who is doing these killings," she says.

The $25,000 reward has yet to lead to an arrest.

"It hasn't helped my situation, so I can't just say if it's gonna help at all because people are still afraid to come forward even with the money being posted," says Duffie.

Pulaski County Sheriffs Deputies and U.S. Marshals tell FOX16 that reward money absolutely leads to information they otherwise might not receive.

Meanwhile, McDuffie has this advice for Olivier's mother.

"All I can tell her is just pray and take it one day at a time. That's all that you can do," she says.

The LRPD wants anyone with information to call Crimestoppers at 371-4636 or homicide detectives at 371-4660. You do not have to tell them your name.

Thugs dont snitch on thugs, its the ethical law of the hood. I pray for these mothers as they cope with the senseless olss of their sons. Thugs want to kill other thugs, fine, go ahead and knock em all down, but leave the innocent tax paying people the hell alone.

very sad, I'm sure whoever shot him will be in jail soon. Either for another murder or some other crime.
