NLR murder suspect turns himself in

NORTH LITTLE ROCK, AR - Police have arrested the man they say is responsible for the shooting death of Michael James, Jr., who died on Independence Day.

Police responded the morning of the 4th to the Motel 6 on West 29th Street to find James shot in the lobby. James was taken to UAMS where he later died.

Demond Montgomery, 19, was wanted for capital murder, aggravated robbery, and possession of a firearm by certain persons. Police say he turned himself in Monday morning.
