Forreal...... Nobody said you did ask about the greeters!! And yes the alarm will go off at the door. But the greeters can not stop anyone when they are set off. Like I said they can not approach a customer.

Funny one Butch. The scanners at the exits; I've heard them go off here in Jax; I too am surprised they didn't go off in this situation. Like I said earlier - inside job?

I didn't ask about the greeters. Are those scanners at the exit door just fakes? Surely they would be set off by something as valuable as an iphone 4s.

....good for you and your wife, she must have started there when it was a good job...the fact that this crime was pulled off in such a manner is a testament to walmarts corporates business sense, they worry about the wrong things...that many phones should not have been on the sales floor..they should have been in the back, locked in a cage..

To answer your questions about the alarm at the door…… Wal-Mart has implemented a policy for the door greeters. If you notice all door greeters have been moved further into the store and do not check items as they come in the door or out the door. They have been told not to approach a customer whom comes in or out the door. They are to stand and greet customers as they pass and assist any with questions.

How do you walk out the front without setting off an alarm with iphones? Where are the pictures of the cabinets being broken into? The one outside photo is definitely not 4:00 a.m, it's daylight. Too many inconsistencies in this story!!

Corporate Walmart, Less important. Boy don't you hate it when people that can't do anything right get so far ahead. I figure what concerns them is working real well. I'll be living well enough when my wife retires at 60 because of what they were concerned with. The policy I don't like is their vacation policy. They pay my wife to stay home and bother me for well over a month a year.

...corporate walmart concerns themselves with things that are less important than the basic concept of store operations...
