LITTLE ROCK, AR – A bus driver who hit and killed a pedestrian in Little Rock last fall has been charged with misdemeanor negligent homicide, according to the Little Rock Police.

Allen Mems was arrested and booked into the Pulaski County jail. He was later released on $2,000 bond.

The accident happened at the intersection of Capitol and Louisiana the morning of November 17. 57-year-old David Wright was in the crosswalk when he was hit by the Central Arkansas Transit Authority bus that Mems was driving.
