JACKSONVILLE, Ark. (AP) – The Air Mobility Command Headquarters director of staff at Scott Air Force Base will take over duties at the 314th Airlift Wing at Little Rock Air Force Base.

A change-of-command ceremony will be held Tuesday for Col. Scott Brewer.

At Scott Air Force Base, Brewer was responsible for managing all the headquarters activities. As commander at Little Rock, he'll lead about 1,200 military and civilian professionals who make up the C-130 "Center of Excellence" for tactical airlift.

He will succeed Col. Mark Czelusta, who will become the commander of Squadron Officer College and commandant of the Squadron Officer School at Air University, Maxwell Air Force Base in Alabama.

The college develops and executes professional military education for 16,000 company-grade officers annually.
