This story proves this is a small town station. No reporter worth her salt would ever air a story that was so poorly researched. This story was in no way to inform the public because if it was it would not have ignored the fact. 1. The city of Benton is currently building a Substation just to the south of the line. 2. EMF is a nonissue. Never has there been a study that show any relation between playing under power lines function properly have ever hurt anyone. In fact may cities including Little Rock and North Little Rock use power line corridors as hike and bike trails. 3. Entergy offered Partridge 25k for less than an acre of Right of Way. If you have spent a few minutes checking you would have been able to find these fact and presented a balanced story.

Yep!!!! I new it..... The power lines are causing cancer now. Let's take them all down and shut down all the power plants. Get those wires pulled out of you're house. Back to cooking with wood or gas and if you need a doctor you can just call him out to your house. We don't need hospitals or PD/FD or any thing els that would require electricity. Going back to the old days...... I think not! There is far more riding on the grid wires and over head power lines than ball parks and politics. Peoples lives depend on electricity. The fact is... We have to upgrade and build on to the grid infrastructure to prevent melt downs and rolling black outs. People alway seem to try to complicate things. You can fight if you want but in the end the out come is going to be the same. You'll just have less money in your pocket. While your paying lawyers and legal fee's.... Guess what... You and all of us are still paying our light bill. Soooo in a manner of speaking. Wouldn't that be kind of like paying to fight your self? Just a little food for thought. I could talk about this for days. The truth be known... I don't think Disney world has deep enough pockets for that fight. Just sayin.
