I saw a report on the local news, the reporter was riding with a cop watching people text while driving.the officer made the remark that no tickets had been written for this violation and he doubted if they would ever write any,my question is why have the law?I agree the speed limit is always being exceeded and tailgating is awful but if they don't enforce any laws it wont stop.

You know I just can't bite my tongue anymore. This state has the worst drivers so far that I have encountered. There should be a NO CELL phone law set in place which mean no txt and no talk while driving. Its no only cell phone but also the roads here in this state and 2 lane highways. I guess thats the country for you. I have lived and said it on here before..the West Coast to Southwest and yes we had bad drivers and wrecks but this is terrible here. Folks constantly drive 20 to 40 over the speed limit....tailgators like I've never seen before and pure ingnorant and careless drivers. Wake up folks your vehicle is a deadly weapon.
