NEWPORT, Ark. (AP) — Authorities in Newport say there have been no arrests yet in the shooting death of an auto dealer at his business.

Seventy-eight-year-old Paul Tinsley was found with a gunshot wound last Tuesday in his office at Tinsley Auto Sales by a customer and was pronounced dead at a local hospital.

Prosecuting Attorney Henry Boyce told reporters Sunday that no one is in custody for Tinsley's death. Boyce declined comment on whether any suspects have been identified and on a possible motive for the shooting.

Boyce said police have asked the Arkansas State Police to assist in the investigation.
