Most often, I support Law Enforcement Officers; they put their very lives on the line for most of us. But as in every aspect of society, you'll have the bad seeds in every group. As a group, I can't say enough about them; the way they escort us to the Special Olympics Opening Ceremony in Searcy every year; the way they help us ( a group that escorts veterans to their final resting place ) out when we need them. But really; a deputy that has surely broken some laws, even though they are not felony's, he still should be accountable; and 2 LR police officers busted for drugs; and some moron shooting himself in jail after a jailer smuggled a gun into him; one would think the state, the counties, and local chiefs need to get the weed whackers out and weed out the bad seeds.

This same cop, if called to an altercation like he did, would have arrested the common joe. Cops get protected from criminal behavior. Just remember the guy that got his face smashed in in front of Fernau Restaurant on Kavanaugh that was on youtube. He went scott free. He should be in jail for felonious assault.

Heat of the moment action, suspension, but not fired. I understand if a regular joe did it, resort would have pressed every charge they could, but cops sometimes get the benefit. I dont why, but its just life.

They need to fire this guy. He has the judgement of a kid. I am sure he was drunk when he did it. But that is ok because he is a cop ? If he is not fired for conduct non-becoming an officer, than this state is still far behind the real world where ALL people are accountable.
