No injuries reported in Arkansas earthquakes

GUY, Ark. (AP) - The U.S. Geological Survey is reporting that two smaller earthquakes hit near the town of Guy, AR Monday morning.

A magnitude 4.0 struck near the small Faulkner County town at 8:33am on Monday. About two and a half hours later a 3.6 magnitude earthquake struck nearby. These two earthquakes come a day after at 3.0 earthquake hit Sunday morning in the same area.

Including micro-quakes, there have been 5 earthquakes in and around the town of Guy on Monday.

The earthquakes are attributed to the New Madrid fault line that runs through Arkansas.

Guy, AR is located about 15 miles north-northeast of Conway and 40 miles north of Little Rock.
