NORTH LITTLE ROCK, AR – Officials from the North Little Rock Police Department are on the scene of what appears to be a homicide.
According to Sgt. Brian Dedrick, North Little Rock Police received a call from the owner of a residence located at 1208 W 4th Street. The landlord said he hadn't heard from his tenant in a few days, so he went to check on him. He told police that he knocked on the door but didn't get an answer. When he went inside, he found the tenant dead.
Police say the victim, whose name has not yet been released, appears to have suffered blunt force trauma, and are investigating his death as a homicide. The victim was a man in his late '80s.
