LITTLE ROCK, AR - On the busiest shopping day of the year, perhaps one of the most peaceful places you'll find in Little Rock is a protest.
"The holidays are becoming all about making money instead of what the holidays are really meant for," said Josh Haeber. He's been camping at the occupy site for one month.
"There's a lot of promotion of today," said Tim Brunson, another member of the movement. "People feel almost the obligation to go out and spend their hard-earned money."
The Occupy Little Rock Crowd can't stay far enough away from the Black Friday deals.
These occupy-ers believe today is all about corporations preying on American's weaknesses like cheap prices. The more items we buy, the more money the men at the top make. And when you're living as a minimalist, your view of necessities changes.
"It's taking away from the spirit of what actually America was founded on which is common decency and morality between two people," said Haeber.
