I hope no one associated with the movement was the cause of any trouble. I also hope that every person involved in the movement, and all their relatives and friends, are or will be registered to vote. The discontent I see today is very much like what the US experienced in the early 1900s. The gap between the haves and the have nots was enormous; corporate interests controlled much of the economy, and more than a few politicians were likewise under the interests' control. But there was also a growing number of media--print media, then--stories that thoroughly researched then exposed the controls, the graft, the corruption, and how too many in local and state politics were either part of the problem or powerless to really change things. It would not be a clean sweep, but enough people got concerned and mad enough to push changes and reforms through the opposition, at the local, state and federal levels. Public faith in government was restored to a fair degree. Ground got lost in the 1920s, but the trauma of the Depression revived the need, the desperation for change. More selfish interests and agendas have again resurfaced; whether they know it or not, members of the Tea Party aid and abet goals that will hurt a lot of people. Many of them are sincere, but I and many other citizens believe they are wrong. We, the People--by the way, the first three words of the US Constitution--need, deserve and must have movements like OWS, if for no other reason than to make sure one point of view alone never dominates. If the OWS and like movements will result in real reform, and FOR the people, all the better.

While we are not necessarily conspiracy adherents, we can't help but see obvious patterns emerging to some of our governments focus and draw logical conclusions. Toward that end, our main purpose is to reveal the motive and process of these changes and to cause the alarm and healthy rational fear and skepticism needed to stop the socialism and the corrosive thinking behind it before it ruins our country.
