LITTLE ROCK, AR -- At first glance, it looks as though the protesters are just lounging, but it takes a lot to run this fort.

You secure the camp with barricades and make sure the makeshift pantry is stocked with food. The kitchen must be ready to prepare meals. The accommodations are there to make sure the voice of "Occupy Little Rock" is heard.

"Our government has lost the ability to listen to the American people and I think the end comes we're able to return power to the American people," said Aaron Stewart of "Occupy Little Rock."

Organizers like Stewart encourage protesters to bring tarps to cover their tents in case of rain. They stress the spirit of cooperation with police so things don't end up like they have in Oakland.

"We can still get our words out to the people and get our point out to people while maintaining peace with the people," said Stewart.

Stewart says the group is growing as many stop by to learn more about "Occupy Little Rock." He plans to at the site until the end, knowing the end has no date.

"We need to end the bedmaking going on between politicians and the corporations.  We need to bring the power of the government back to the hands of the people," said Stewart.

I fully support peaceful protesting but I don't understand these camps. I too believe your being misled. Standing up for what you believe in is great but all I'm seeing is a lot of finger pointing without any reasonable fix. Demanding change may get you the "change" you don't want. I see a lot of protestors pushing for the exact type "socialized fix" that will be totally against the rights and freedoms they're currently expressing and will violently shut them up very quickly. You can't have it both ways. If you want the freedoms this Country is based on then one needs to stop demanding the government give them everything and start taking the government's powers away from them. There is no doubt this country is in a bad mess but anyone who thinks the government is the solution is greatly mistaken. The voter is the solution and we need to vote out the criminals running this country and stop re-electing the idiots that got us in this mess. Stop listening to the media's agenda and start thinking for ourselves. Stop electing and re-electing career politicians and lawyers. They're nothing but liars and criminals. Boycott the corporations that are running this country. It's our dollars that put them there and the only way to stop them is to stop buying their crap. If it isn't made it the USA then we can live without it. Back to the basics until the jobs are brought back to the USA. Demanding an out of control federal government to do what's right is like telling an alcoholic sitting in a room full of booze to stop drinking. It's stupid and nothing short of a revolution is gonna fix it if people don't start thinking for themselves and get out and vote in people who will actually stop the madness. Stop demanding from the government that which you can give yourself. The govenment didn't give us the freedoms we have today but they sure are taking them away. You want change? Change how you think and how you vote before you're no longer allowed to do either. Think people, think!

Thank you Occupy Little Rock for standing up strong and proud for what needs to be addressed while remaining peaceful and law abiding. The much needed changes in government cannot be accomplished by diverting available resources to contain unnecessary violence and mayhem. We are strong in numbers, unstoppable in commitment and do not condone those who believe in destruction. A soft answer turns away wrath.
