i knew carl personally. He was the type of guy who had no enemies. He walked the streets of alexander as long as ive known him. He was so close to his house where he was walking to. He was such a nice person and didnt deserve this by far, Whether or not she ( lady cop) had been on force for 5 weeks or 5 years she had to know who he was. If he wasnt walking he was riding his tractor. So unfair to their family. I pray that this lady cop pays for what she did to an innocent man that wouldnt do anything to anyone besides make em laugh. RIP Carl you will be missed terribly but never forgotten

Ok I've heard several stories on this situation & none of them make any sense. Ill comment on this nonsense that's here! The (ill be nice about it) officer shot the unknown man (RIP C.W) AFTER he tossed a weapon (from what I understand still has not been found) so what's the deal with that? Well I've got a very good idea but I can't say because it says no racial comments. I know most people can only go by what they're told by the media but before you try to judge you must hear both sides also but I guess you can't do that now can you hmmmm anyway everybody makes mistakes you have to how else are you gonna learn but the mistake here was not made by the man it was made by that officer may God have mercy on her soul because I know he will on the mans he's done more good than bad! (LOVE YOU FOREVER & ALWAYS C.W YOU WILL FOREVER BE IN MY HEART)

well yankee im not going to his funeral for nothing and if u read over head alone it states that he tossed his weapon BEFORE fires where shoot and i hope that ur not goin along with my english grammer.. sumthyn that i choose to type differently.. lol its called internet chattin and being different from others.. anyway it doesnt matter.. it is wat it is.. i feel that the law takess up for their own either wrong or right.. and just because a family member is a so called thug doesnt mean their life is valueless.. not erebody is able to live the life that they desire.. doesnt make it ok to place them in a catagory.. he was my family and i know his heart made wrong decisions like us all no one is perfect and all choice r not good but thats what being human is.. i know one thyng he had God in his heart and i know many thugs that became great role models in life. pastors and counselors i also feel that its yel ur right cops are not no one guidance and etc so if get a call on sum bs then tell them its not their job to help with that certain situation and if u can appoint them to who can help them.. and on the responce to the dispatch comment. if we could listen in on yalls convo the way yall listen in on ours then im sure we would know more.. i myself have been in situation where no report was made by the law but they still took advantage of their badge and still went to people they shouldnt have.. thought it was clear to both parties that it wasnt ok they still didnt get into trouble for their prying into anuthas life.. its ok for a cop to run a light with his siren flashing then turn it off after passing a light. its ok for them to sit on the side of ur home and easedrop. for nothing but hurry up and leave when they realize they r caught snooping and to take their bad day out on you. but not for a person to gain respect when theve lived a hard knock life.. yea kee takin up for the bs the law hands the community..

Just checked a couple of other news outlets; nothing stating the man is deceased yet. If he is still alive, I pray he will recover, and learn from his mistake; and turn his life around.

notevenkool; I was going by a story on a local news outlet. As I wasn't at the scene, or know anyone that was, I have to go by the info I'm given. I don't have all the facts; but I do have a few. One, he had a weapon, which he tossed. Did he toss it after being shot? Or before? I'd say if he tossed it before he was shot, the officer was in the wrong. I'd also say if he tossed it after being shot, then the office did what she had to do. The only epidemic I see is most of those defending the perps on here are trashing the English language with their grammar and spelling! Not everyone Dude, but most. As far as the "kid" in LR goes; the officer is paying a price for his actions. It is yet to be determined if he was right or wrong in his actions - as far as a review board/trial is concerned. But at 15, the "kid" was already a gun toting, carjacking, thief; so society is better off without him. He no longer has the opportunity to eventually kill an innocent person in his chosen "vocation". I'm not the one that has to make the final Judgment on these two; that's up to God. I'd say the chances of the 15 year old spending the rest of eternity in Hell are pretty good; I don't know the whole story on the man in Alexander, so I can't speculate on his chances when he stands before God. pat and quzzler; I'm with you on this one; at least until I know all the facts.

First...that human beings are physically fighting is barbarian/savage...second that the police are called to arguments between these two people is wasting the police. If you are compelled to act like a HEATHEN get the HELLLL AWAY FROM EACH OTHER,...DON'T CALL THE POLICE. Calls a day....my kid has run away...15 minutes ago..DON'T CALL THE POLICE....my kid is refusing to go to school....QUIT CALLING THE POLICE. THEY AREN'T HERE TO BE FAMILY COUNSELORS AND SOLVE YOUR PROBLEMS. This is from one who has been listening to police dispatch and am SHOCKED at all the REAL CRIME going on.

Dude III.....10 cops killing thugs in a week would not even come close to an EPIDEMIC. Sorry, stats would just not agree...The 100000s of officers in the country up against 20 a week would not be an EPIDEMIC. I AM SICK AND TIRED OF CRIMINAL ACTIVITY AND ALL THE GUN RELATED ACTIVITY GOING ON BETWEEN ME AND THE GROCERY AND DRUG STORE...AROUND MY HOUSE AT NIGHT. I like the "shoot first and rehabilitate them later" system. THEN AGAIN, NO ONE IN MY FAMILY OR FRIENDS HAS EVER BEEN IN THE THUG BUSINESS.
