LITTLE ROCK, AR - It’s a special day for an 11-year-old girl who loves owls.

Mary Kaylin-Linch absolutely loves the birds and has always wanted to touch and hold one of them. Thanks to the Raptor Rehab of Central Arkansas, Mary got her chance Saturday evening.

“I am really excited about it,” said Mary. “Just seeing the owl free and happy.”

Raptor Rehab is a non-profit organization that cares for sick, injured, or orphaned birds of prey and releases them back into the wild. In 8 years of operation, RRCA has released nearly 400 birds.

Mary released the owl near the base of Pinnacle Mountain.

Great story!!!! All we ask is just a bit of positive to out weigh the constant negative reporting. Everyone just needs to remember: for one crime committed there are hundreds of good things not reported. I know good doesn't "sell", but in these days, you may want to rethink.
