LITTLE ROCK, AR - The Pulaski County Special School District has asked a federal judge to release it from federal oversight in a 30-year long desegregation case.

PCSSD is the only district in the county to not yet obtain “unitary” status. That status was achieved already by Little Rock & North Little Rock schools, which allows the districts to operate without oversight from the Office of Desegregation Monitoring.

PCSSD has requested hearings in January to present their case in an attempt to conclude the long running case.

With judges and lawyers making a mint off of this 30 year old case; good luck!
