LITTLE ROCK, AR -- Mills High School security guard Ken Keys is fired from his job after school leaders say he hit a student.

In a recent report, FOX16 news told you about an incident involving Nickolas Terry. He says Keys punched him in the stomach while he waited for an escort to the bathroom.

"I pushed the door open. His one hand was on the door and his other hand hit me in my stomach. So I started falling to the ground," said Terry.

Thursday, the human resource director says Keys actions were inappropriate.

"We don't allow security guards to physically put their hands on students unless it is to protect a student or protect an employee of the district," said HR director Paul Brewer.

The tenth grader's mom says she is pleased with the new developments.

"I'm very happy that something has been done because he didn't need to be around any children with the mentality he has," said Suzette Tyler.

The district also confirms there are now new reports of sexual misconduct involving Keys.

"There were some accusations made that he had either come on to some of the girls in high school or maybe had an inappropriate relationship. Now that has been turned over to police," said Brewer.

I would be completely ashamed if I had to go on the news and admit my kid is in high school and can't be trusted to go to the bathroom safely by himself...and it has nothing to do with a physical handicap. Not condoning the security guard's behavior, but someone failed somewhere in raising this kid when that's the scenario.

Need to get the little TERRORISTS out of the schools then no one would need a bathroom escort. But doesn't excuse the man's abuse of authority. Go after the terrorists parents and might get somewhere. But then you have to after staff that allows them terrorists right's. No one should be making any money off this. Use it to hire staff trained to deal what is going on in these schools.

REALLY?!!!!!!!! If he needs an escort to go to the restroom then he dont need restroom privledges.

cha-ching! More taxpayer money being bled out of PCSSD to cover legal cost. Maybe if some parents had smacked some kids when they needed it and instilled some discipline then need for alternative schools or security guards wouldn't be needed in schools or needed to escort them the bathroom.

A 10th grader needs an escort to go to the bathroom? Only in our fine LR public schools, how sad.
